Renewables Installation – Commercial Project at New Build Football Club
At Spartan Mechanical Ltd, we’re proud to showcase our recent Renewables project for a state-of-the-art football club development. This large-scale installation demonstrates our expertise in delivering efficient, sustainable heating and plumbing systems for commercial facilities.
Project Highlights:
- Vaillant Air-Source Heat Pumps: Installed two 12kW units to provide eco-friendly heating and hot water.
- System Separation: Integrated a plate-to-plate heat exchanger for efficient thermal management.
- Hot Water Storage: Designed and installed 1600 litres of hot water storage, powered by dual 800-litre tanks with 7kW immersion heaters. A Legionella cycle was pre-programmed for optimal safety and compliance during peak demand.
- Cold Water Accumulation: Fitted a 900-litre cold water accumulator for consistent supply.
- Underfloor Heating: Delivered 380m² of underfloor heating for premium comfort and energy efficiency.
Domestic Project – Heating System Installation
We recently completed a domestic heating system upgrade within a 100-year-old building, including new boilers, bathroom installations, and underfloor heating. Through careful planning and expert installation, the project successfully integrated modern heating technology while preserving the character of the historic property, delivering improved efficiency, comfort, and long-term reliability.
Project Highlights:
- Routed Underfloor Heating Systems: Installed underfloor heating for premium comfort and energy efficiency.
- Plant Installation: Two domestic 30kw boilers delivering a combined 60kw heat output requirement.
- System Separation: Designed and Installed 6 heating zones – ground floor, first floor, UF HTG, swimming pool circuit, towel radiators, hot water circuit.
- Water Storage: Installed 400L domestic hot water storage with 450L cold water accumulator. Supporting two ensuite wet-rooms, a main bathroom with wet-room, ground floor WC, kitchen, utility room and external shower.
